Point Whitehorn Marine Reserve – June 24, 2012
My son and I enjoyed a gorgeous green walk through the Point Whitehorn Marine Reserve, located in Birch Bay, WA. It’s a 50 acre park with these amazing trees and foliage! Birds singing everywhere, though I couldn’t see them. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk to the edge of the cliff. Most of the trails are wheelchair accessible. Once you’re to the end of the main trail, there is a steep switchback trail (not wheelchair accessible) that leads to a pretty cove on the Pacific Ocean.
Someone who regularly visits the park enjoys creating nature art.
