Hand-Dyed!

My sister needed some product photos taken. She hand-dyes bamboo socks, bamboo scarves and a few t-shirts. Here are a few photos from my effort this afternoon. I must re-take some items as I wasn’t happy with how they turned out.

  1. good effort. in my experience, direct sunlight rarely flatters products to be photographed. i found it generally better to use an overcast sky or open shade – taking care that the white balance is properly set.
just my two cents’ worth 🙂

    • Laughing – we’ve been overcast for the last few weeks! Yesterday was one of our few spring days without rain. But yes I agree and it was great to try it out. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it!
